Echo Lake ski trails are located between Anaconda and Philipsburg Montana near Georgetown Lake and Discovery Ski Area a few miles off Highway 1. We offer 10.5 miles of groomed trails and 4 miles of un-groomed trails.
Our main trailhead with ample parking and a warming hut is called Midway. It’s on the main Discovery road about a 1/4 mile before Discovery Ski area. The warming hut is great place to take the chill off and connect with friends. This parking area gives users access to both the Cable Trails and the Echo Lake Trails. Other trailheads are: Echo Lake (very limited parking), Discovery Ski area, and Red Lion snowmobile parking area. We groom about 10.5 miles of trails. Additional trails are marked and mapped but not groomed. (See our Trail Map page)
