Echo Lake ski trails are located between Anaconda and Philipsburg, Montana near Georgetown Lake and Discovery Ski Area – a few miles off Highway 1. We offer 17 km of groomed trails and 6.4 km of un-groomed trails. (See our Trail Map page)
Our main trailhead with ample parking and a warming hut is called Midway. It’s on the main Discovery road about a 1/4 mile before Discovery Ski area. The warming hut is great place to take the chill off and connect with friends. This parking area gives users access to both the Cable Trails and the Echo Lake Trails. Other trailheads are: Echo Lake (very limited parking), Discovery Ski area, and Red Lion snowmobile parking area.
