ELTA Birthday Party and Ski Clinics

Grooming Report 2-26-24

This from Pam and Mike :
We groomed the echo lake side this morning and packed cable. But it’s snowing pretty good, so expect new snow on the trail. Have fun skiing. We plan to groom again tomorrow morning. Discovery’s webcam is showing 8 inches currently. Yippee.

Classic and Skate Ski clinics

Want to add a winter activity to your life and actually enjoy Winter?? Nordic skiing is a great fit. Perhaps you are looking to hone your skills. We will have amazing instructors available. Come out, enjoy the trails, and celebrate Echo Lake Trails Association turning 10 yrs old.
March 3rd. at the Midway Parking lot/ warming hut.
Learn classic nordic skiing: 11 am to noon
Skate Skiing Clinic : 1:30 pm

For the Skate Ski clinic, you will need to provide your own gear as Discovery doesn’t rent skate gear. The Trailhead in Missoula or Homestake ski area may be an option for rentals

Grooming Report 2-13-24

Skate lanes were touched up this evening. Should be great skiing in the morning. Snow is in the forecast for Thursday, so we will likely groom again Friday.

Grooming Report 2-12-24

Crews will be grading the trails this morning to make them flatter and wider. It will be no good for skating while they are at it. Grooming will follow so by the end of the day trails should be in good shape.
